Grant projects at the Theiss Center always seek to expand the impact of our work with children and families by providing different forms of training, professional development, consultation, and other supports to the broader family-serving community of professionals. The CCAT Project has developed the Trauma Proficient Practice Series, providing baseline level trauma training followed by more intensive training and support to professionals and agencies serving individual children and adolescents as needed.
The PEAR Project provides training in IECMH evidence-based treatments to clinical professionals; free training in topics like attachment, development, and trauma-informed care to other professionals in the early childhood community; and collaboration with the Infant Mental Health Certificate program at the Pitt School of Education.
