Volunteers from UPMC Theiss Center for Child and Adolescent Trauma and other Western Behavioral Health volunteers joined our colleagues from NAACP of Pittsburgh at the Juneteenth Weekend celebration June 14 & 15. Together we shared information about "Together We Rise, Together We Thrive" -- the new collaboration seeking to build trust and share resources to reduce disparities in access and outcomes of mental health services for youth in minority communities. It was a wonderful weekend; we're looking forward to more as this project grows! Follow NAACP Pittsburgh's Facebook page for more coverage.
