Mara Niccoli is a Research Assistant for the Complex Child and Adolescent Trauma Project (CCAT). Mara attended the University of Dayton, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2022. She majored in both Sociology and Criminal Justice Studies while studying there. Within her role as Research Assistant for the CCAT Project, Mara collects data surrounding clients’ demographics and trauma history through screeners and assessments. Additionally, she assists in reporting this data to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA), the federal agency that provides funding for the CCAT Project. Over the next few years, Mara hopes to continue her education in Sociology and earn her master’s and Ph.D. in the subject.
