Rachel Ludwig LCSW

Rachel Ludwig is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to utilizing her extensive knowledge and expertise to provide evidence-based mental health treatment. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida, Rachel has honed her skills through various roles, including her current position as a Behavioral Health Therapist III at UPMC Theiss Center. Her clinical experience includes utilizing evidence-based treatments such as TF-CBT and ITCT-A for individual/family therapy, client care-coordination, and providing coordination and supervision for the departments’ student interns. Rachel has a passion for working with adolescents and assisted in developing an adolescent trauma-focused group therapy curriculum.

Prior to Theiss, Rachel served as a Senior Social Worker at UPMC Montefiore, an Intake Assessor for mobile therapy, and a School Social Worker and Counselor. Rachel brings comprehensive skills to her work, including patient advocacy, crisis intervention, gender-responsive therapy, trauma-informed care, and interdisciplinary care planning. Rachel makes a positive impact on individuals' lives through her dedication to her clients and support for the education of others.
